WASHINGTON – Gov. Bruce Rauner pressed White House chief of Staff Denis McDonough for more information about Syrian refugees coming to Illinois, his spokesman said on Monday – though the call was on Friday. A sticking point is whether the federal government will give Rauner information about Syrian refugees prior to their arrival in Illinois.
